Position Title: Senior Manager – IT Projects (Alternate Channels)
No of Positions reporting into this position : 2-3
Experience: 5-6 years experience essential
Area of Activity : Alternate Channels Management & Communication projects
CLIENTis currently implementing an integrated communication engine portal that will include sending and displaying personalized communications on the web and via bulk email, SMS etc. to their various customer segments, agency salesforce and alliance partners. Also, as a part of their alternate channels, a Kiosk project implementation is underway to connect in a more integrated manner with their customer and advisor segments. These implementations will require multiple projects to be initiated, executed, rolled out for operations and constant monitoring to ensure KPIs are delivered.
Key Activities
Manage Solution Delivery from IT vendors for development and delivery of new process automations and enhancements to existing processes.
Managing Production Support for Uptime/ response time and bug resoluton of the application
Rollout and Implementation pan India.
Integration with Line of business systems, mail exchange server and Extranet/Intranet/Internet Portals.
Deliverables
Project Delivery as per timelines and quality standards.
SDLC Process compliance
Competencies
Program Management of multiple projects using CMM framework
Managing a team of project managers
Vendor Management
Good customer orientation
Good Oral and Written communication skills
Meeting Facilitation
Skills
Good project management skills with exposure to communication and web technologies (JAVA/JSP,Webservices, Communication tools and technologies)
Usage of alternate channels for communication (SMS, Bulk Mails)
Understanding of mail exchange servers, DTS extraction and network related aspects
