We are looking for mid-level roles in investment banking division. The
brief description is as below :
Job Title: AVP/VP Investment Banking
This position is for a AVP/VP for Equirus Capital, an investment bank
with offices in San Francisco, Mumbai and Bangalore. We have strong
presence in India and we are expanding into USA to support cross border
M&A advisory and capital raising transactions.
As a senior member of our growing firm, you will be responsible to work
with industry and other product group bankers in cross-functional teams
originating and executing a wide variety of advisory and private capital
mandates. You will also act as the primary day-to-day contact for deal
execution support, including financial statement analysis and financial
model development; valuation analysis; industry research; and the
preparation of various presentation and documents including descriptive
memoranda, management presentations and other. You will also interact
daily with C-level executives from around the globe, prospective
buyers/money sources, attorneys and accountants. You will gain in-depth
exposure to learn to manage transactions and interface directly in
presentation, negotiation, capital-raising and closing in playing a
central role coordinating the activities of all team members. Additional
responsibilities include supporting senior bankers in developing junior
analysts and helping with special projects to further develop the
practice. This position offers great potential to grow fast in our young
investment bank.
You will be reporting to Global Head, IT/ITEs practice who is based out
of San Francisco.
Required
· Minimum 5 years investment banking or consulting experience
required.
· MBA from reputed business schools with focus on Finance or
Strategy is a must
· Strong know-how of Information Technology (IT) industry is
required. Relationships at C-level in IT industry is a plus
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Excellent writing and presentation skills
· Strong quantitative skills, including financial modeling
capabilities
