Position: Head, Institutional Sales

Job profile:

The Professional must have:
* A bachelor's degree from a top college or university (MBA or
CA/CFA/CIIA certification preferred but not required).
* At least 2 years of experience as head of Institutional sales
with a Leading Investment Bank/Securities firm.
* Excellent sales skills, research abilities, and verbal and
written communication skills.
* Ability to operate in a high pressure, entrepreneurial
environment and to show initiative and self-direction.

Responsibilities will include:
* Direct communications to institutional investors and their
representatives to introduce and explain investment options.
* Arranging, coordinating, and participating in customized
presentations with institutional investors.
* Follow-up communications and support of investor due diligence
requests and inquiries.
* Providing ongoing updates to prospective investors through
various stages of each Investment and working with them to address
questions, special requirements, and closing details.
* Demonstrate a thorough understanding of each investment being
placed and how it is differentiated from other managers with similar
investment strategies.
* Gain knowledge of institutional investor portfolio allocations
and products sought to assist the firm in identifying the most
appropriate investors for each investment and the level of investor
demand for different asset strategies at any point in time.
* Maintaining highly detailed records of results from calls,
correspondence, and meetings with investors and their representatives
and adding these to the firm's investor database.
* Coordination of efforts with the firm's principals as well as
research and due diligence staff.
* Participation in the marketing of our firm's placement services
to the fund manager community.
* Promoting the firm and its services through industry conferences
and periodicals as an attendee, speaker, or interviewee.
