CLIENT has established Business Analytics & Research Group in Bangalore, to disseminate and exploit the use of advanced analytical techniques across the variety of Client businesses. BA&R is engaged in developing Analytical models for all aspects of Marketing life cycle in financial products, using cutting edge statistical / econometric, operations research, and computational intelligence tools. The analysis and models produced by BA&R are used by decision makers in Marketing.
Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
The Segment Senior Analyst perform analysis, and deliver actionable insights that lead to improved business results for key segment marketing initiatives. This role will provide input into the appropriate analytic and data strategy required to meet segment learning objectives and will help communicate learnings within CKC (Customer Knowledge Centre) and across FPI
(Client Personal Investment).
Support the implementation of the segments learning agenda by Delivering analyses to address business questions providing analytic methodology recommendations and support, and delivering insights and actionable recommendations upon analysis completion. Integrate analysis findings with Market Research, Finance and CKC analytic partners to ensure a robust
solution to business challenges. Work with U.S. counterparts to understand the Segment Managements analytical needs and business model
Take complex data issues, methodologies and analysis results and communicate them to business partners in a manner that is relevant, meaningful, actionable, and understandable.
Identify data gaps and work with appropriate teams to uncover or develop new sources of business critical data that enable more robust business analysis and measurement of marketing impact.
Support efforts to improve marketing analytics capabilities (technical projects, process improvements, usage strategy, industry best practices).
Problem Solving: Identifies analysis objectives and business problem to be solved; packages final deliverable. Provides recommendations for improving marketing effectiveness based on analysis results.

Experience and Qualifications:
Education/Experienc e:
Atleast a Masters (PhD is an added advantage) in Economics/ Finance/ Marketing/ Industrial Engineering/ Marketing/ Operations Research/ Statistics/ Bio-statistics or in any other quantitative discipline from leading Indian Universities with an excellent academic record. Candidates having between 1-5 years experience in industry working in areas like Customer Relationship Management, Campaign Management, Marketing, Market Research, and having a flair for quantitative analysis would be considered.

Skills/Knowledge:

Strong client relationship skills.
Strong quantitative skills required.
Excellent business judgement and ability to recognize business implications of data.
Familiarity with statistical methods including analytic segmentation and statistical modeling
Must have effective oral and written skills, including use of compelling visuals to effectively communicate challenging or technical concepts.
Computer skills (Windows NT, UNIX), programming SAS, Excel, and knowledge of charting and graphics packages desirable.
Brio skills a plus
Financial Services background a plus
Some project and time management skills with an ability to set and maintain priorities in a multi-task environment.
