Accounts Manager- Doha

Functions and Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all accounting activities, including:

* Monitor accounting books for various company offices in different countries, in coordination with staff in those offices.
* Monitor all payables and receivables including collection of payments.
* Review financial statements, discuss them with the Board and auditors and issue periodical reports for the company and its offices.
* Manage monthly accounting procedures including salary payments, bank account balancing and reconciliation, forecasting, etc.
1. Coordinate with the Internal Auditor on the above and other issues.
2. Supervise accountants team in performing daily account work.
3. Supervise year end procedures including coordination with external auditors
4. Draw financial and budget strategies and plans, follow up their implementation and advise the CEO and board on operational matters related to finance.
5. Perform financial Planning
6. Develop financial policies and procedures for the company.
7. Lead efforts related to developing private placements and/or public offering of company stocks.
8. Participate in developing, enhancing and expanding the company and its business however possible.
9. Perform related work when required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. In-depth knowledge of financial practices, including financial management, capital budgeting, corporate financing, valuation, and financial analysis and planning.
2. Strong experience in using accounting software (Peachtree experience is a plus) and in using Microsoft Office
3. Experience in accounting with IT or Internet companies is a plus.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
5. Proactive, energetic with strong organizational and collaborative skills.
6. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and employees.

Education, Training and Experience

* University degree in the field of accounting, finance or business administration.
* Five to seven years experience in financial accounting and full command of the accounting cycle, including procedures, reporting, and cash flow management, forecasting, and auditing procedures.

1. Successful implementation and maintenance of accounts book keeping and practices
2. Achievement of annual goals for the organization in general and the Finance Division in particular.
3. Streamlined and effective accounting processes.

Chain of Command

* This position assists and advises all departments in accounting matters
* The position is supervised directly the Internal Auditor and CEO
* Assisted by Accountant and Accountant Assistant
