Lead Analyst for Indian Equity
Leading independent equity research firm (name Confidential) is looking for outstanding individuals with strong research aptitude to join our Mumbai team as a Lead Analyst in different sectors and verticals in Indian market.
The analyst position is a demanding, fast-paced job that requires the ability to think quickly on one's feet and work independently. Strong candidates will have:
Strong academic qualifications ( MBA from a top รข€“ 10 B-School (preferably IIM) / IIT / CA / CFA )
2+ years of equity research experience in Indian market
Strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret information quickly
Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to provide & defend an opinion with company management teams & fund managers
Strong interest in stock markets.
The company ranked 3rd in the UK (according to 2007 Survey).
We are a fast growing firm, with research teams in Mumbai and London providing stock coverage in a number of sectors: Healthcare, Technology, Retail, Energy, Specialty Financials, Insurance, Media, Leisure and General Services.
We train our analysts on all aspects of equity research and provide an opportunity to take on complete responsibility for stocks. This includes idea generation, talking to company management and selling the idea to fund managers. We encourage our analysts to pursue the CFA program and have in place a CFA sponsorship program.
