Below is a Job Description in the International Banking Group of ICICI
Bank. ICICI Bank set up the International Banking Group (IBG) in the
year 2002 to implement a focussed strategy for its international
banking business. ICICI Bank\'s presence currently spans 17 countries
and includes wholly owned subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, Russia
and Canada; offshore banking units in Singapore and Bahrain; an
advisory branch in Dubai, branches in Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Belgium
and US; and representative offices in China, United Arab Emirates,
Bangladesh, South Africa, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia.

In the past 3 to 4 years two major business models were implemented
successfully across the globe to offer Banking and Fee Based Products
- International Private Banking ( HNI Segment ) and NRI Services (
Retail Segment ). To deepen our penetration and Increase our reach to
NRI and Foreign Nationals to offer India Based and International
Products, we set up the Alliance Banking Business across International
Markets covering the entire spectrum ranging from Independent
Financial Advisors, Brokers to large scale operators like Banks.

We are looking at the following positions for the same :

(1) BUSINESS MANAGER ( Manager / Sr. Manager)
(1) Understand the International Market Dynamics, Competition and
Define the Product Offerings
(2) Market Research and Analysis for entry and penetration into
new/existing markets.
(3) Cost Benefit and Business Potential Analysis based on available
data
(4) Formulate and Implement the Business Strategy
(5) Set up the Process, Infrastructure Support, Advisory Support etc
(6) Drive the Business and Marketing Initiatives, New Product launches
leading to Revenue Generation.
(7) Own the Country / Region for this business and Track and Manage
the P&L of the Market.


We are looking at an MBA/CA (batch of 2003-2006) – Appx. 2-4 years of
experience in a sales, relationship management, strategy or consulting
role with the following skill sets :

à Aggression and Drive for Results
à Ability to work dedicatedly on new and challenging assignments
à Excellent communication and presentation skills
à Experience in planning and scheduling critical tasks
à Ability to relate & interact with senior / top management
à Understanding of technology from a business perspective
à Valid Indian passport is an added advantage

Person with Banking, Equity, Distribution Management, Project
Management or Consulting Background will be an added advantage
