*Sr. Manager – Employee Relation* (Equivalent to AVP)

The incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day management of
India-based
Human Capital ER team. Will be responsible for the India human
resources
deliveries around Employee Relations Eg. Employee Lifecycle Processes,
Polices & Procedures, People Management methods & actioning ) in India.
Will
have to provide support and advice in all areas that have an impact on
employment and utilization of staff & employee engagement, including
the
application of Company policies and procedures as well as ensuring that
activities and processes performed are conducted according to Company
requirements.

Will have to work closely with the Human Capital Partner(s) and other
Regional Leaders to ensure effective development and implementation of
programmes, practices and processes to meet the operational needs of
the
Business Segments in India across locations. Provides ER oversight and
solutions around Employment Practices and Work force laws for India.
Acts as
a coach and mentor to the members of the ER team.

Education: Masters Degree in Human Resources or related business field
or
professional HR qualification essential

Total experience: at least 8- 12 years

Location: Gurgoan

*CTC: Will go upto 25lacs*



The incumbent must be working as Manager / Sr. Manager/ AVP – HR /
Employee
relation for more than 1 year.

Experience working in human resources shared service delivery model
strongly
preferred, including the support of a full range of personnel
activities.

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of up-to-date employment
practices
& law in India essential, overseas knowledge would be an advantage.

Experience of managing sizeable teams with experience of managing
leads/managers with teams under them is essential.

Experience of working in a MNC environment is desirable.

Must have at least 6 years of total supervisory experience

Excellent customer service skills

Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to
lead and work effectively within teams and across the organization.

Proven ability to work with senior management across locations &
business
groups and to develop strong relationships and an ability to quickly
build
relationships and gain credibility with peers.

Experience working in a matrix environment preferred.

This position requires strong interpersonal, communication and
organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to
write
employee policies and procedures.

Demonstrated ability to act as a continuous learner and recommend
appropriate solutions.
