JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Mumbai (MSAS)
Position: Research Associate – Manager
Role: Producer/Manager role with global Research exposure. Potential
to work at a leading Research institution with well-recognized
methodologies and approaches.
Educational Requirements:
MBA/CA with 5-6 years of Financial/ Research experience
Strong academic record, quantitative skills and an interest in and
understanding of financial markets
Any progress towards CFA (AIMR, USA) would be preferred
Any experience in the relevant sector/s will be a plus
Working as a Manager for around 4-5 research associates within MSAS,
Mumbai.
The managerial responsibilities will include
�� Guide the associates in their deliverables, while
ensuring their
quality of output on a day to
day basis
�� Interact with the global analyst teams of these
associates and
help manage the relationship
with the analyst teams
�� Identify training needs and help manage the
training programs
�� Performance management and evaluations
Knowledge/Skills Required
The ideal applicant will have at least 3-4 years experience within
research, although applicants with
relevant financial experience would also be considered
�� Ability to understand and analyse financial
statements
�� Strong analytical and problem solving skills
�� Writing ability
�� Excellent skills relating to data manipulation and
interpretation
�� Ability to effectively work in a team
�� Experience, interest and ability to lead junior
members
�� Strong excel skills

�� Strong communication skills - written and verbal
