Job Profile - Operations Process consulting in the Consumer & Industrial Products Industry, which would include projects in areas such as Quality & Business Process/Systems Improvement, 6 Sigma and Total Productive Maintenance
Qualification: Engineering with MBA in Operations/Manufact uring/Industrial Engineering/ Supply Chain specialization from one of the top 10 B-Schools.
Experience: 3-5 Years of experience in a Manufacturing firm in a Manufacturing department (Departments: Production, Maintenance, PPC, Production Engineering, Projects, Quality, Logistics, Vendor Devt, Materials) (Or) 2-3 years in consulting in Manufacturing Operations / Quality areas)
Preferable worked actively on Lean/six-Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)/TPM as facilitator or had an active role.
Profile Brief:
- Good skills and knowledge of statistical tools and process controls.
- Good understanding of the key business processes in the domain area is desirable.
- Have excellent communication skills รข€“ Written, Oral, and Presentation.
- High degree of data research and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity.
- Be willing to travel
- Good team member and should be able to relate to situations and people.
- High level of confidence and comfortable in interacting with all levels in the hierarchy.
Skills required:
- Application Knowledge in concepts like TPM, Six Sigma, Production Planning and Scheduling, Planned Maintenance Concepts /Implementation of EFQM/Business Excellence Models like Deming, Malcolm Baldridge /Business Score card
- Working proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Good Analytical and Project Management Skills
