POSITION TITLE: INDUSTRY MARKET MANAGER, CLASSIFIEDS
The incumbent is a member of the company¹s top management team. His/her
responsibilities include analyzing the industry, identifying sales
opportunities, developing new consumer and industry insights, and
articulating the firm¹s value proposition to key classifieds clients and
prospects. The role holder will use his/her analytical prowess, industry
expertise, marketing experience, and communications skills to help design
and implement a strategy to build their advertising business amongst the
largest classifieds players in the Indian market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Analyze the classifieds industry and the company¹s business to identify
the priority advertising sales opportunities.
* Developing industry-leading insights to help evangelize, educate and
advise the firm¹s largest classifieds clients on its marketing and digital
strategies.
* Designing and articulating their value proposition to classifieds players
across our advertising products.
* Preparing for, supporting and attending key client meetings.
* Driving and facilitating industry education amongst the sales teams.
* Working across functions to drive action.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
* High caliber graduate degree required, MBA preferred.
* Significant professional experience in the classifieds industry,
preferably in digital.
* Experience at a top tier consulting firm a plus.
* Highly developed analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Goal oriented and self motivated.
* Ability to influence without direct authority.
* Confident, thorough and tenacious attitude.
* Minimum 8 years experience, possibly in a sales, marketing, or strategy
function.
