BUSINESS HEAD – KPO

The Company: Our client provides business process management services to global leaders in Banking, Financial Services & Insurance, Telecom, Media, and Healthcare among other sectors. With revenues over than INR 8500 mn, 16000 employees and operations spread across 25 delivery centers in India, US, UK, Argentina and Philippines, it is among India’s top Outsourcing entities and an ace player in the global offshore services industry. With a recent acquisition of a US based Research and Analytics Company in 2004, the company intends to build a larger KPO business across the globe.

Position Overview:

Job Purpose

He/She will develop the strategy for the KPO market, prepare a go-to-market strategy and exponentially grow the Business Vertical. He/She will have to develop long term strategic goals & operational plans and will be responsible for creating & delivering shareholder wealth; top line and bottom line achievement.

Key Accountabilities

§ Manage the P&L; run end-to-end operations – business development, client management, service delivery, cost control etc for the business unit
§ Develop and manage a high-performing team
§ Continuous improvement and quality adherence (six-sigma) in the operations and service delivery cycle
§ Manage critical client relationships on projects
§ Develop industry specific capabilities and partner with Client development on new proposals, solution design, etc.

Personal Attributes

§ An understanding of business strategy and evidence of executing to deliver business objectives
§ Must possess high level of strategic thinking coupled with outstanding execution skills
§ Outstanding track record of nurturing people and an ability to consistently top-grade the organization
§ Ability to operate in multicultural and contrasting environments with an ability to operate across multiple geographies
§ Persuasive communicator both within and outside the organization along with enormous ability to influence and high results orientation
§ Customer centricity and passion for service delivery and excellence

Key Qualifications

§ 10 – 15 years experience with at least 3 – 5 years as a P&L head
§ Should have excellent client engagement skills and the ability to deal with ‘C’ level executives
§ Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills, with more of a client facing role
§ Ability to motivate the team and ensure achieving the SLAs
§ Good interpersonal skills with an eye for detail and an attitude oriented towards People, Processes and Technology.
§ Background in any knowledge driven, consulting practice as a Business Head (for example from any of the Big4 firms) also would be preferred.
