Looking for a Senior New Business Development Manager to be based in
Delhi.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The individual would be responsible for the whole business
development including building a team to manage: Pre-approach, Cold
Calling, Prospect meetings, Needs analysis, Proposal writing, new
client sales. The role presents an ideal opportunity for an
experienced business development professional to join a rapidly
growing business and contribute to the development of its relatively
new operations in India. The person appointed will be responsible
for selling and developing the company's range of research
services/products as well overall responsibility for new business
development, so entrepreneurial drive and character is essential.
Working as part of a small team and reporting to local and
international management. International travel will be required.
HIRING PROFILE
MBA. Business development and sales experience, 8+ years
sponsorship/ advertising related sales or research experience.
Knowledge of research methodologies advantageous (quantitative or
qualitative) . Ability to interpret client requirements and
objectives, turning these into appropriate research programmes.
Excellent communicator. Well organised and able to manage several
projects simultaneously to prioritise work and work under pressure
of deadlines. Strong presentation skills. Excellent computer skills.
Compensation: Not a limiting factor, with strong performance pay as
well.
