CEO , software wing of 300+ cr group

I have a position with the following profile, with one of my reputed clients, a Rs 300+ crores company and have a start-up company in software solutions. The software division is in existence for the last one and looking for a dynamic CEO who could create a road-map for the company. The position is based at Mumbai and has plenty of challenges. Being part of a large group, funding isn't an issue.

The profile reads as under:

Verticals/Specializ ation : Software - Business Application/ solutions/ Device lead integration/ large solution based IT projects for example in the banking space in respect of payment and remittances, forms, settlements, etc.

Job Profile:

This is the leadership position with the Group.

The forays into the ITeS space are a first-time effort for the investors. It is based on strategic objective that the Group has to be present at large volume transaction support business for banks, insurance companies, utilities and the Government (for example revenue franking).
The candidate must have balance of entrepreneurial zeal and corporate work-culture. A mature individual with 18-22 years of total experience of which 10-12 years in leadershp and top management positions in IT (software lead services industry/business automation - for banking, financial services, utility, Government and large corporate (ET 50/Fortune 500 company size).
Those having worked in intensive environment, with a focus on numbers and quarterly milestones, would most likely find this opportunity a challenge to exhibit all round skills in areas mentioned above.
The candidate must have quick understanding to eb able to translate the Board's strategic Objective into planned and executed deliverables in the following dimension:

1. Creation - Infrastructure, salability, capacity, competencies.
2. Results - customer base, revenues, profitability.
3. Leadership - Team building, result orientation, driving organization goals and reinventing them if necessary.
4. Technology - alliances, acquisition and management of tech oriented organization.
5. Fund Management - Equity/Debt; working capital and investment side. 'Use of proceeds' clarity and management.
6. Board and Investors Management - Prior experience would be a clear advantage.

Age: 40-45 years.

Academic: Management Graduate with engineering degree.

Start-up and scale-up exposure as leader or a core leadership team member is very essential.
Must have handled revenue levels of 'zero' to USD 10 millions in 2-3 years.
Handled business development - sales/delivery relating to transaction in either industry type.

Experience: : IT hardware/Si/ Software/ start-up involvement; minimum 100 persons scale-up investment; minimum 2-3 customers sales - at least one from US?EU market; good understanding of quality processes in project implementation; involved in contract & SLA negotiations; handled operations, tech staff and marketing/sales; delivery history - quality, time and cost.
