OBJECTIVES:
To lead the South Asian Sales Team for DMV, a 150+ person start-up, aiming to become a leading player in the business information space.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Selling a range of content including reports and databases of unique business information and market analysis, competitor analysis and product analysis tools.
Work closely with experienced expert teams in each industry to develop strong relationships with key clients.
Head a small team of sales executives, primarily selling through telephone and email marketing techniques, with the opportunity for travel and face-to-face contact with key clients focussing primarily on the core Asian markets.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience of managing sales and marketing teams.
Strong track record of sales in the business information, market analysis, consultancy or trade magazine market.
Ability to understand complex products and work closely with research teams.
Ability to motivate and drive telephone sales teams.
Ability to carry out consultative sale.
WRITTEN SKILLS
Ability to write clear and concise business style English is a key requirement for these positions.
