Online Sales and Operations Associate Manager/ Manager - Hyderabad
Position based in Hyderabad, India.
Google is looking for strong leaders who can take charge of high-performing teams in our Hyderabad sales operations center. Our team needs leaders with outstanding decision-making skills, management experience, and flexibility. This role requires direct management over highly skilled client service and sales operations associates. In this fast-growing environment, Online Sales and Operations Manager must also exercise extraordina! ry judgment as key stakeholders in our hiring process. Strong candidates should be extremely proactive, motivated, organized, responsible, and should work well within a fast-paced group.
Responsibilities:
Directly manage high-performing teams working on the operations of Google's online advertising program. Online Sales and Operations Managers must be able to operate with minimal oversight.
Take a lead role in developing and implementing best practices for client interaction and services for AdWords and other revenue generating Google products.
Increase effectiveness of staff and tools by recognizing opportunities for development and proactively creating new systems and structures.
Develop metrics to measure growth and performance of the department, and provide reports as needed.
Interface with current advertisers and Google employees to implement editorial and quality guidelines.
Execute special projects involving quantitative! analysis, industry research, and strategy development.
! Requirem ents:
B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. or equivalent from a globally top-ranked university required. MBA from a globally top-ranked university strongly preferred.
Exceptional oral and written English communication skills.
Proven track record of success in previous work experiences, with five to nine years of work experience.
Direct management experience required. Must have at least three years of sustained superior performance managing others, including (but not limited to) writing performance evaluations, training team members, and establishing criteria for promotion.
Related experience in sales, operations, or client service in an American or European multinational company is required.
Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management within Google.
Passion for learning and cr! eative problem-solving.
Strong computer applications skills.
Ability to drive and understand productivity metrics for staffing and tool demands.
