Job Title: Consultant / Senior Consultant / Principal Consultant

Location: NCR, India

for global organizations.

This position is for 250+ person Strategic Sales Consulting team positioned

across North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific (including India). It is a mix

of people having in-depth industry expertise,solution knowledge, management consulting background

and product software understanding with a mission of driving its ware license sales.

In other words, this team's mission is to drive increased sales by helping prospects

understand the potential value of investments in the software solutions. Collaborating with

prospect's senior business executives, this team delivers business cases which link the

company's strategic goals, business challenges, industry trends and benchmarks with

peers / industry leaders to crystallize the value proposition, resulting in an increase in win rate in deals,

increased deal sizes and shortened sales cycles.

The team in India is a critical strategic group consisting of talented MBA professionals from premier educational and work

backgrounds, having strong business advisory skills and the ability to be the thought engine

for sales.

This is a position which is best described as a mix of sales, management consulting and

finance within the umbrella of a global, premier software brand. You are expected to support

sales cycles of multi-million dollar deals and build expertise across industries and functions

from a business advisory standpoint.

With experience and maturity, it would provide opportunities to get customer-facing

business advisory engagements either on assignments in North America or in the APAC

region (including India) or people/program management roles, over time.

Position Description:

- Develop high quality proactive C-Level business cases for sales prospects, that clearly

highlight understanding of prospects' overall business and/or individual process areas,

value-drivers, pain points, areas of opportunity, and the value proposition

- Gain proficiency into key business functions such as HR, finance, manufacturing, supply

chain, sourcing & procurement etc. Drive benchmarking analyses comparing existing

customers or new prospects against best-in-class organizations across multiple

business functions, reinforcing client's reputation as a thought leader and trusted business

advisor

- Build expertise and leverage the opportunity to work across multiple industries and

business process areas. Study trends and practices to develop the client's value proposition for

targets in the respective industries/process areas

- Develop exhaustive financial models for quantifying the benefits of the suggested

business process improvements for a prospect, over an extended time horizon

- Publish position papers, containing original, leading-edge thinking, that address key

business and technology issues targeted at C-level executives

- With experience and maturity, opportunity to get into direct customer-facing business

advisory engagements either on assignments in the North America or APAC region.

Qualification

- University Degree, MBA (or equivalent) from a premier institute

- 1 to 5 years total work experience. Preferred work areas to be in BD, Pre-Sales,

Consulting, Corporate strategy etc.

- Should have worked in or have exposure (either through consulting assignments or

through focused sales/business development activities) to at least one of the following

industries:o High Technology, Automotive, Consumer Products, Process Industries (Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Metal processing, etc.),

Life Sciences, Financial Services, Public Sector, Logistics, Engineering, Construction and Operations, Media and Entertainment

- Strong quantitative and analytical skills

- Knowledge of financial statement analysis and modeling

- Ability to understand and articulate the business value proposition of leveraging

technology

- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality of analysis

- Team player, able to work collaboratively and effectively in virtual teams
