Job Description
Our client's Financial Research group works with traders and
quantitative analysts in support of the companys global proprietary
trading activities. Responsibilities of the group include the
researching of financial data and strategies, detailed company and
sector analysis, forensic accounting, and database creation and
maintenance. The group supports extensive mission-critical processes
and works closely with the technology group to effect automation and
exception analysis.
As a Manager in the Financial Research Group, he will fulfill a key
role in the management of projects and operations at the firm. He will
be responsible for leading and motivating a team and will be
accountable for Service Delivery parameters. He will be expected to
coordinate, prioritize and oversee the work of your team. A thorough
working knowledge of the functional area is essential. He will deal
extensively with senior managers based in the New York office.
Desired Profile
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and organized individual with
exceptional communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and
quantitative skills, a rigorous work ethic, and a genuine interest in
finance. A minimum of 5 years of experience with at least 1 year of
proven leadership experience is a must. Applicants are required to
hold either an MBA (Finance) from a premier institute or CFA
certification. Professional experience with global financial markets
as well as with offshore processes would be a decided advantage
