The Vice president HR for the Consumer Bank is responsible for
ensuring all facets of operational HR and executed and carried out for
the bank.
This is a HR "Generalist" role.
The position requires a leader who has the experience, energy and
discipline to manage the heavy demands of "Business As Usual"
activities as well as drive change programs in a complex and matrixed
organization. The significant geographical spread of people
heightens the importance of this position playing a lead role in
guiding and influencing the management team to ensure people issues
are professionally and proactively managed and HR is viewed as a
member of the management team which is a significant business partner
critical in the decision making process.
This position will also manage a team of HR Professionals spread
across the different geographies in the region.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
· Demonstrable HR experience in a complex large organization
· Demonstrable leadership skills of a large HR Team
· Demonstrable Senior Management skills
· Superior Relationship Management skills
· Prior experience should include: 9+ years HRM
experience leading people/teams.
· Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
· Excellent problem solving abilities and
innovative thinking with the ability to drive consensus.
· Proven ability to prioritize business objectives
and effectively manage multiple projects to fruition in a dynamic
environment.
· Proven ability to champion and utilize both
direct and matrix resources to meet deliverables and challenging
deadlines.
· Strong work ethic/integrity/ excellent use of
discretion and judgment.
· Self-motivated; ability to involve and engage others.
· Strong aptitude for the design and delivery of processes.
· Position may require travel up to 20% of time.
