The Research Analysts in the CIBM Centre at Bangalore will be organised into teams centred around global industry sectors or other specific activities such as quantitative or credit research. These teams will support HSBC research in major financial centres.

Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities will include the following activities:
- Ensuring that the Service Level Agreements with the Business Area with respect to productivity, quality and turnaround time for specific credit analyses tasks are met or exceeded
- Supporting team in :
- Coordinating information required for comprehensive credit analysis, underwriting and structuring.
- Analysing financial documentation and supplemental data to support lending decision-making; recommending credit requests, structuring transactions to appropriately meet business needs.
- Clearing credit exceptions.
- Preparing credit analyses in support of new and existing business opportunities, including number of credits processed, modifications, inactivations, declines, initial and annual reviews.
- Analysing operating trends, financial ratios, debt service capacity, liquidity and overall credit risk for conclusion and recommendation.
- Preparing and evaluating a variety of spreadsheets for senior credit management.
- Maintaining and administering a schedule of annual reviews
- Providing technical advice and assisting lenders as needed. Serving a resource for traders, salespeople and other colleagues.
- Adhering strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC and regulatory standards, policies and practices; reporting control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational loss events
