Position: Manager Investment Banking Client Strategy & Analysis
Roles & Responsibilities:
Ø The role involves leading the IB Client Strategy & Analysis team - group of 5 analysts
Ø The team supports the Investment Banking Coverage of Americas, EMEA and Asia pacific region and prepares information materials on competitive benchmarking, market intelligence, analysis of Client base/ coverage and competitor activities which give insight to Business Managers, Client Executives and CFOs.
Ø The role requires a good grasp of Investment Banking Client segmentation, Market and Competitor activities and an ability to take the deliverables to the next level in terms of content & format
Ø The role involves a good understanding of how league tables of Investment Banks are used and analysis of the same on deal by deal basis. Requires preparation of Investment Banking Volume and Wallet reports across various products (M&A, ECM, DCM, SLF) and Industry/ Sector groups.
Ø The role also involves a great deal of client (internal) interaction and the requirement is to interact with some fairly senior business managers
Ø The role involves having a knowledge of frameworks and practices that need to be integrated in a process/ research set up and also a view to improve the same
Ø Also the role requires a business development aspect in terms of looking for and executing upon opportunities to grow the group
