JOB DESCRIPTION:
General Description of the Job
Supervisor's Position/Reporting To : Assistant Vice President
Duties and Responsibilities
* Supervision of work as it relates to - Financial Analysis, Sector
Analysis, Business Valuations, Business Combinations, and report generation.
Provide guidance on these concepts and coach the execution team in delivery
of work to the client
* Responsible for Valuations - DCF, Relative Valuations, LBOs, Merger
Consequence Analysis, etc.
* Track and maintain knowledge on specified sectors and drive
Knowledge Management initiatives
* Manage projects, supervise a large team, ensure quality levels are
maintained keeping in mind the larger picture from the perspective of the
Investment Bankers
* Manage & review deliverables - Company research, industry reports,
Valuation Analysis, etc.
* Collaborate with the client to generate ideas to grow the account -
constant interaction with Senior leadership team of the client to manage and
grow the account
* Provide thought leadership and strategic direction to the team
* Coach, motivate and counsel the team to consistently deliver quality
output even while working under high pressures
* Train, mentor and motivate the team for effective and speedy ramp-up
of team. Also responsible for periodic performance management of all team
members
* Recruitment and hiring - contribute towards ramp-up of team from
pan-India campuses and lateral hires as well
* Regular interaction with Adventity Knowledge Services leadership
team on all operational issues - client feedback and account development,
strategy formulation, hiring, training, process improvements, Knowledge
Management, best practices, etc.

Required Qualifications
MBAs with a Specialization in Finance / Chartered Accountants.
Experience
* Finance MBAs from reputed B-schools / top performing CAs / CFA (CFA
Institute, US), with an overall experience of 6-9 years of which 3-4 years
of relevant Investment Banking experience is necessary. Experience in
leading analytics teams with local research firms / captives / 3rd party KPO
firms and exposure to research, Corporate Finance and knowledge of Global
Financial Markets will be an added advantage
