A large global consulting firm has the following positions (based in Singapore/Kuala Lumpur) in its Healthcare-Lifescie nces practice:
Consulting Analyst:
Delivers research and analysis on client projects. Key objective at this stage is to develop as a solid analyst, developing fundamental business skills by tackling a range of tough client issues – hard functional skills as well as soft skills (presentation, client interaction) .
Comes from a market research background, with at least 3-5 years of experience. Has relevant qualifications or experience in the pharmaceuticals/ biotech fields. Can direct and lead an analyst team on consulting projects for pharmaceuticals/ biotech from start to end. Understands market research and consulting processes such as proposals, questionnaire development, analysis, report presentations.
Senior Consultant:
Leads a client project ; goal is to structure and coordinate the activities of a team of consultants and/or associates in developing a coherent strategy, together with the client. Key role in maintaining and reinforcing client relationships.
At least 5-7 years experience in research/consulting , with some engagement leadership and/or proposal development and sales experience or aptitude A general background in strategy consulting, custom market research, and sales is preferred. A broad understanding of market research and the analytical frameworks commonly used in the strategy consulting for healthcare industry. The ability to work closely with clients to develop long-term, mutually beneficial business relationships. Need to work in a team for project design, supervise data collection, introduce market models and direct strategic analyses and recommendations. Advanced presentation, speaking, writing, influencing, and relationship- building skills. An undergraduate degree in the life sciences or business from a top institution. Masters preferably in international business or healthcare related fields
