Role: Business Analyst

The India Business Analyst will report into the head of Ad.com India and will be responsible for coordinating between Ad.com US team and Ad.com India Technical team. This includes, but is not limited to, communicating with Ad.com US team on regular basis for understanding business requirements, translating those to technical requirements, keeping technical team in synch with the project objective. In addition, Business Analyst will also be responsible for doing mathematical and statistical analysis on a need basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Generate and drive new ideas to increase monetization from Ad.com products and services.
§ Understand business requirements for project requests from Ad.com US team.
§ Translate business requirements to technical requirements.
§ Coordinate with US team and India technical team to keep them in synch.
§ Analyze and Present India team's deliverable.
§ Review deliverables from technical team from an end user's perspective.
§ Analyze and model business and revenue generating scenarios.
§ Identifying areas where India team can provide value add to expected deliverables.
Required Experience
§ 1-2 years experience in an Analyst Role
§ MBA from reputed institute
§ 2-3 years pre or post MBA experience in a software development role
§ Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
§ Technical background with strong business training and communication skills.
§ Strong analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills and abilities.
§ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, employees, external clients, and/or customers.
§ Experience in databases & sql will be a plus.
§ Understanding of least one statistical modelling software will be a plus
