Position : Market Technical Associate - Fixed Income
Job Description :
The Fixed Income Market Technical Associate in Bangalore will work closely
with Credit Analysts and Research Associates in Merrimack, NH on issuer and
sector relative value analysis including, but not limited to: cash credit
curves; CDS curves; cash vs. CDS basis curves; rating curves; sector curves;
equity vs. debt correlations; equity and asset volatility analysis;
historical option-adjusted- spread analysis; and daily, weekly, monthly
excess return analysis. The job involves the compilation, analysis and
presentation of market technical data that captures price and spread changes
for overnight production and delivery to the Fixed Income Research Staff in
Merrimack, NH.
Experience
The preferred background is either a Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Business, Finance or Accounting from a top tier institution with 2 years of
work experience in either the financial, investment or consulting
industries.
Strong analytical, excellent communications (written and verbal) and
interpersonal skills are required.
A comprehensive understanding of U.S. based GAAP accounting is required.
He/she will be comfortable working in a sophisticated, competitive,
performance driven, team oriented, fixed income environment.
The successful candidate should be an independent thinker with the ability
to effectively articulate his/her valuation templates
