The India Business Unit of IBM Daksh requires a Centre Head for its delivery centre in Kolkota. The position is an IBM Band 8 position. The Centre Head is responsible for the operations and P&L of a delivery centre with almost 1700 employees, and growing fast. Reporting to the Centre Head are the operations, quality, administration teams, and there is a dotted line reporting from IT, HR, Recruitment as well. The responsiblity also involves interacting with customers and managing customer relationships. The position reports to the Vice President, India Business Unit, who is the BU head.
The ideal profile is someone who has had substantial experience (at least 8-9 years) of handling complex operations and has excellent people management skills. Industry experience is not necessary, but operational experience is a must. Experience of handling P&L responsibilities is desirable, however, not essential.
