The Equity Capital markets group focuses on public market issuances, bothfor the domestic and international markets. The group executes mandates inthe areas of Initial Public Offerings, Follow-on offerings, rights issues,open offers, delisting, buy-backs, placement to qualified institutionalbuyers and international offerings like GDRs, and FCCBs
Job Profile: As a Sr. Manager / AVP your profile would involve leading teams forexecuting transactions involving merchant banking activities, IPOs, FPOs,rights issue, pre-IPO placements, delisting activities, FCCBs, GDRs etc. The person should be self motivated to lead a team on the transaction. Theperson should also internally lead efforts on co-ordinating with theInstitutional and retail sales teams as also the research team. The personshould also have an ability to advise clients on the route of fund raisingthat needs to be adopted for a mandate.
Candidate Profile: We are looking for candidates with sound knowledge of the capital marketsand each of the above products including the regulatory framework for theseproducts. The candidate may be an MBA or CA/ CS with relevant experience inexecuting these products. The candidate should have also liased with SEBI,stock exchanges and other intermediaries for the purpose of executing thesetransactions. Experience of dealing with potential investors will be anadded benefit.
