Research Manager at Bangalore
Job Requirements
The requirements of this function are as follows:
· Overall operational responsibility of company's Global
Service Delivery (GSD) practice research requirements
· Owning and leading the creation of research IP and products
· Managing and guiding a team of Researchers in designing,
developing and conducting research studies
· Team management – role allocation, quality checking, time
management, management of deliverables
· Interfacing with senior external and internal clients on
research studies
· Supporting client offshore diligence visits
· Owning Knowledge Management of Global Service Delivery (GSD)
IP
· Leading interactions with the service provider community to
build company awareness of their capabilities and building points of
view on the market and suppliers
· Managing company databases on market and suppliers
· Driving Indian market facing activities such Sourcing
Industry Conferences, Company Index release etc.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience
· Master's degree in any discipline; MBA would be good to have
· 8-10 years of experience with at least 2 in a managerial
capacity
· Strong background in research (market/business) ; analysis
and/or marketing experience
· Expertise in primary and secondary research
· Demonstrated skills in team management and client
interaction
· Excellent understanding of outsourcing/ offshoring domain
