Global Marketing Strategy, KPO

ROLE: Global Marketing Strategy

Key purpose of the role:
The Marketing Insight, Strategy and Planning team are an integral component of the Client's Marketing team, responsible for providing the tools, insights, information and knowledge to enable the Client's sales community to win business. The Global Marketing Strategy Manager is accountable with contributing to the developing, monitoring and reporting of the marketing strategy across the global markets, in
order to drive profitable revenues via the sales channels.

Key personal qualities:
To facilitate the development and implementation of the Global Services Country/segment/vertical marketing plans by utilising marketing tools capability to translate business objectives into pragmatic, customer focused and profitable products and propositions. The individual will be an experienced marketer with the ability to review and implement the marketing strategy within the Client's customer base and sell innovative ideas to Client's internal and external stakeholders, both globally and country specific.

Principal responsibilities:
To lead ad-hoc projects to analyse / research market opportunities and provide recommendations on the actions GS can take. Likely to be in the 18 months+ timeframe
To assist in identifying and developing marketing strategy for use within the CLIENT'S marketing team and onwards to the major stakeholders;
To support the Global Services 3 year marketing strategy and annual rolling plan;
To assist in the review of the commercial basis on which BT does business. This will include at least reviewing the market mix, margins, SG&A – EBITDA performance and channel performance amongst others, in order to maximise CLIENT'S profitability;
To assist in reviewing the marketing strategy element of all marketing campaigns and programmes for appropriateness;
To support the development of GS country/segment/vertical marketing plans
To assess the business needs and challenges through research and liaison in order to provide a world class marketing performance;

Experience:
Typically 3-5 years experience of marketing planning and a track record of wider marketing knowledge (Will interplay and contribute to the end to end Marketing Strategy, Market Research and market segmentation processes, the delivery of Strategic options/data and delivery of the Marketing strategy for Global Services
Track record of developing and delivery of innovative solutions in support of customer and brand requirements;
Significant strategic planning and programme management experience;
Evidence of real and virtual team working;
Experience of working in an international marketing environment

Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach which is easily tailored for local requirements;
