PURPOSE:
Provide a leadership role in the development of corporate partnerships that advance QUEST’s vision and have a positive financial impact on the organization. Lead the development of new corporate programs and provide support to expand existing corporate initiatives. Work closely with global and national corporations to develop programs to benefit disadvantaged children and youth nationwide.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead and manage the conceptualization and development of new corporate programs, as well as the enhancement and expansion of ongoing corporate programs. Produce program development documents working closely with corporate partners, program staff, local partner organizations and strategic partners.
2. Represent the organization at major corporate conferences and events, particularly with a focus on corporate social responsibility, community involvement and/or public-private partnerships for technology in education, including preparation and delivery of presentations related to these events.
3. Provide technical support to program staff and in-country partner organizations for corporate proposal development, project planning, program design and budget development. Lead and prepare briefing papers, concept papers, proposals and budgets for planning and mobilizing resources for new corporate programs.
4. Lead and manage the communications efforts of the Alliance Secretariat, design communication strategy to meet organizational goals, shortlist and provide content to vendors for roll out of communication tools.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• Master’s degree in a field relevant to QUEST’s mission and programs (e.g., business, marketing, social science, technology management or international relations)
• Supervisory and resource development experience and 5-7 years of related experience in the corporate sector, preferably in marketing, communications, corporate social responsibility, community involvement or within a corporate foundation.
• Understanding of program development and/or program management in the development sector with international NGOs.
• Analytical ability to identify and establish priorities, and attend to all details in a professional manner.
• Demonstrated strong project management and planning and budgeting skills. Ability to advocate and liaise with a variety of donors (corporations, multi- and bi-lateral agencies).
• Strong interpersonal skills appropriate for operating effectively in a multicultural, international environment.
• Excellent computer skills using MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills. Fluency in a second language is preferred.
• Excellent time management and handling of multiple tasks.
• Ability to manage travel as needed.
