We have been retained by a leading US Fund Manager to recruit the following professional.

KPO of a US Fund Manager:

Position: Manager- Global Research Library
Responsibilities :
Lead a team of research analysts including team building, motivation, effective business processes, standards of performance and business development.
Ensure alignment of the operation and activities with goals and objectives of Global Research Library- Knowledge Management services.
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with all stakeholders and supporting business structures.
Manage daily activities and interaction of the India team with the US team. Prioritize assignments and projects.
Provide weekly and monthly management reports.
Select, train, mentor, supervise and evaluate library staff.
Implement quality and other metrics to measure the India team performance and progress.
Participate in the information needs assessment activities and provide recommendations on new services and sources to meet the identified needs. Analyze clients’ feedback and recommend service improvement and enhancements.
Provide in-depth information research, information packages, ready reference and data mining for portfolio managers and research analysts using multiple databases, online services, print publications and Internet.
Evaluate print and electronic information resources to enhance existing collection of sources with focus on Asia Pacific.
Leverage information technology and computer applications to improve clients’ access to information and effectiveness of the back office processes.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce.
At least 6+ years of related experience
Experience working for an international organization.
Working knowledge of online sources and searching techniques necessary to retrieve financial and statistical data, broker research, company filings, news stories, articles from academic press and trade publications, government and regulatory material, images, and other types of information.
Experience with information technology, including automated library systems, databases, filtering technology, taxonomy, indexing, search engines, file types, etc.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Exposure to accounting and finance is a plus.
Strong leadership and team building skills.
Solution driven customer service orientation and problem solving skills.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
