*The Firm:* Our Client is a multi billion Corporate Group with diverse
interests in Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Real Estate and Financial
Services. The Group is promoting a $200M Offshore Fund focused on investing
in businesses undergoing significant transition and growth. The Fund is
proposed to be launched by September 2007 and has firm commitments from
investors.
The Fund, although sector agnostic, plans to concentrate its investments
mostly in Healthcare and Life Sciences space.
*The Role:* Our Client is looking to appoint a CIO for the Fund. This person
will participate in all aspects of the investment process including: deal
sourcing and evaluation, due diligence, transaction structuring, closing and
monitoring investments.
*Qualifications* : The ideal candidate should have a combination of previous
investment banking and/or private equity experience with at least 8 years of
aggregate experience. A prior exposure to Healthcare space is not material.
*Compensation: * Compensation will consist of a cash base and bonus, as well
as attractive carry in the fund.
