commodity trading firm as M & A Analyst based outside India, hence
incumbent should be willing to relocate.
Title: M &A Analyst
Reporting: Head Corporate Affairs
Qualification: MBA/ CFA/ PGDM
Experience: 3-7 years in any corporate finance advisory firm, strategy
consulting house, corporate planning and equity research.
JOB ROLE:
1. Conducting detailed background research and financial analysis
on any entity and the industry in which it operates. The candidate
should demonstrate application of concepts in financial management,
industry analysis framework, competition mapping, etc.
2. Independently develop robust valuation models (Valuations using
DCF, Relative valuation, Real options. The candidate should be
conversant with the relevant financial concepts on valuation,
transaction structuring, etc.)
3. Ability to use databases such as Reuters, Bloomberg and other
specific databases to extract relevant information.
4. Conversant with key processes involved in an M&A transaction and
assist the team in managing the process including drafting of investment
thesis and making detailed presentations for the investment committee
and board.
5. Ability to multi task and work on tight timeframes and travel
extensively at short notice.
