New business development for a leading broadcast media
corporate in India
Location - Mumbai
Role
• Conceptualising new businesses and business models
• Creating business plans, financial and operating
models
• Participating in transaction execution (JV,
acquisition, etc) – valuation, due diligence, term
sheets, long form agreements etc
• Co-ordinating with operating management to help set
up the business
• Regular interactions/ monitoring/ guidance to the
operating entities
Capabilities Required
• Strong financial and business modeling skills
• Strategic thinking rooted in operational realities
• Entrepreneurial mind-set, eye for operational detail
• Proven excellence in academic and extra-curricular
activities
• Ability to work with a diverse set of people; strong
relationship building and networking skills
• Independent, goal oriented work ethos; ability to
work with minimal supervision
Qualification & Experience
• MBA from premier business school with above average
academic performance
• 3-5 years post qualification experience with some
years in any of the following areas: management
consulting, investment banking, equity research,
corporate strategy, similar other
• Operating experience in consumer (B2C) industries
(media, FMCG, telecommunications, etc) will be an
advantage
