Title: Sr. Manager / Director - International Launch Management
Job Description:
Responsible for the Program Management of country launches as part of clients International Audience Expansion initiative
Defines the appropriate product requirements for different international markets and determines local offering and consumer experience per market
Works with local and international partners in the creation of compelling differentiated experiences
Develops and executes comprehensive business plans associated with specific country launches
Coordinates all aspects of business operations (legal, finance, accounting, facilities, etc.) associated with starting a new business
Establishes and executes content sourcing strategy and ad serving strategy
Manages a matrixed team across functions and collaborates closely with all aspects of the operation including operations, development, advertising operations, product and project management, facilities, legal, business development and corporate communications
Key contributor in the hiring, training and ramp up of in-country teams
Acts as representative to US teams and ensures proper prioritization and understanding of business needs
Ideal Background / Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (proficiency in local languages a plus)
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
4-6 years experience working in an international role preferred
Knowledge of specific international markets a plus
Knowledge of the International Internet market, key players and features
Highly motivated team player able to work in fast paced environment
Attention to detail and strong analytical and decision making skills
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically
Experience launching and managing online properties and products
Ability to develop and maintain relationships within cross-functional teams
Prior project management experience
International travel required (up to 40%)
Experience with Internet /Online products a plus
