About Gridstone Research
We are a Silicon Valley start up and were started in August '05 by a
group of senior ex Infosys people. Gridstone Research is targeted at
the US fund managers and hedge fund managers. In a nutshell we
research companies listed in US and upload the content on a user
friendly technology platform. Thus the same product which is a
combination of research and technology is marketed in the US. Out of
the total 180 plus staff in our development centre at Mumbai 140 are
in Research Operations. Hence we might already be one of the largest
equity research shops in India. Our experienced Analysts and the
entire Research team are all part of a common mission - to change
the way company research is done.
The Position-Junior Research Associate
The role will be responsible for analyzing and maintaining
quantitative research coverage on specific companies in an industry
using Gridstone Research's proprietary framework for which a
structured induction program will be provided. The role also will
involve planned exposure to fundamental analysis and US GAAP
accounting.
Requirement:
The candidate should be Commerce, BMS or Banking and Insurance
graduate and should have scored 60% and above throughout in 10th,
12th and graduation. He/she should have scored 55% and above in FY
and SY. The candidate can be from batch of 2005 onwards.

•Strong in Quant
Candidate should be able to apply concepts related to balance sheet
and must have a bent towards working in the field of equity research.
Selection Criteria
•Aptitude Test: The test assesses the candidate for quantitative,
analytical and written communication skills and lasts for 45
minutes.
•HR interview: It assesses candidates for job role fit, motivational
factors, basic financial concepts like that of balance sheet, fund
flow statements, cash flow statements. Ratio's etc.
•Technical interview: In depth knowledge about the financial
concepts is checked.
